Support Comes From Home is a community webinar focused on youth mental health within South Asian and immigrant families.Organized by All About Inc., this important conversation will bring together parents, community members, and mental health professionals to discuss the growing mental health challenges facing young people today and the role families can play in providing support, understanding, and early intervention.
The webinar will feature keynote speaker Dr. Asim A. Shah, Professor & Executive Vice Chair of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine. Topics will include warning signs parents often miss, reducing stigma around mental health, building trust and communication at home, suicide awareness, and connecting families with available support resources.
The event aims to create a safe and compassionate space for dialogue while encouraging stronger family support systems and healthier communities.
